Jimmy Payne to Buddy Fraziers right, the guy in the hat seems like his last name was McClure, the guy behind Brewer seems like his last name was Jones and he ran mopars, the big tall guy behind Beckham I cannot remember and the guy in the back I cannot make out.

Was that the first year without the modifieds? If thats a Jones it would be either Tom or Bill from Mt. Burg. Can you name this 1970 modified driver?

I know it's a little late in the game, but on page 1, post #8, the 55 chevy is Ted Anderson, car was built by John Anderson, and the car flipped that night to never race again. They said it was bent so bad the body set on the ground and the wheels didn't touch.

It is Tommy Holt in the #91. Ted must have had two cars that year, the photo below that one was in a program of the same year but looks like a different car to me. Can you name the drivers of these cars?

Wagonmaster, my understanding is the 55 Chevy lasted only that one night before it was totaled. I've seen a pic of it from a 1970 program (it had the hood scoop and roof spoiler) and it IDed Ted as the driver.
You sure have a treasure trove of vintage pics. Really glad you share them with everyone.
Thanks

I WANT TO SAY THE 87 IS MAYBE NICK PURKEY? AND 55 I BELIEVE MAY BE KEN ESSARY? THE 49 LOOKS FAMILIAR, JOHNNY JOHNSON COMES TO MIND BUT I DON'T KNOW. I'VE HEARD AS ONE GETS OLDER THE THREE THINGS YOU BEGIN TO LOSE ARE YOUR VISION, YOUR MEMORY, AND UH... I FORGET THE THIRD ONE.
