You are right Gerry it was Dale Wofford that won the first Late Model Championship at Mighty Mouse. How about this pic of Dale at Crawford. I remember this car and he also had a 55 or 56 Ford sponsored by I believe the Market Basket. Attachments:

Next question please. What driver in the late 60s or early 70s went of turn 3 at Crawford County, through the fence and across Hwy 59.

Gerry, all those cars were neat but my favorite has to be the 32 coupe. The purple car. IS THAT GORGEOUS OR WHAT? Again, all his cars looked good but that supermodified was it!!! He was also one of my many favorite drivers.

I didn't realize he was the FIRST roll over at TSS. I know the answer because my Dad owned the shop they worked out of,which was the shop I used when I started racing. The car at the time of the roll over had the car owners # on it,not the # the driver became known with. Glad to help ...LOL

Wagonmaster strikes again, it is Chuck Knight. I have a great very very funny story that involves Chuck myself Erwin Bush Chuck's wife and a set of mini blinds. To long to post, but when you see us out at tracks just ask it is good for a laugh. Just ask about "The Great Mini Blind Beatin Incident".
