Well Bobby, the race name I was asking about. I also found this in a 1982 program. It was dated to run on October 30 &31, and called the Mecom-Kalb Firestone 100 (the 3rd annual).Maybe this race had a few differant names.

I see that add in the program I got my info. from, under "Special Races" . It lists 9 events for the 1982 season. The one I named is not on that list, but is on the front of that program.I know it is a 1982 program, but it sucks that TSS stopped putting dates on the weekly programs in 1972 (atleast the ones I have). Maybe the "Mecom-Kalb Firstone 100" was the race title for the sprints and/or late models, which was actully two 50 lap features. I don't know for sure,I'm just going by these ol' programs, and we all know they are not 100% correct. I only dug them out after I had no clue and nobody was answering the question.

The wagon that Stan drove, was driven by Billy Bray for a few years. But before that, it was built and driven by Mr. Bobby Williamson Jr. for several seasons.

Didn't know that Eldon drove a wagon. This was a mopar wagon that raced at TSS, back in the asphalt days. The driver was from Enid, and the car was # 12 ....Late Model.......driver Ted Shepard

You got me on that one,I don't recall it at all. I moved to the area in '72 and started going to TSS & CCS when Dad wanted to go. In '74 I had my own transpotation and went most every week from then on for many years.
Eldon had one in the early '80s. I think he only brought it to TSS 1 or 2 times. I don't recall it even being painted, and seems like it may have had the driver seat in the center of the car...way to the rear of it also.

How about Jack Foreman. I believe this was in 1970. Anyone know what has become of Jack Smith? Haven't heard anything about him in a while.
