There are a lot of stories that can be told about Custom Muffler and some that shouldn't. It was a great place for racers to hang out which many did. The old shop is still there in front of the old Wal Mart on Midland. Oz Free built some of the fastest cars around back in the day. Thank you Oz for some great memories and these photos and letting a certain pest as a kid hang out. The top photo from right to left is Oz Free his brother Chester Free, can anybody guess who the guy is on the left. The first night this car ran with Gary Stanford driving it made a clean sweep at Tri State. Attachments:

These were from the Razorback Speedway days. On the left is Oz's brother Chester Free and right his brother Merv Free. I remember Oz telling me the old Buick was painted with highway stripping paint. I can't remember if Gary Staford drove both of these cars or not Attachments:
